Hi, I’m Stefanie! I am a unique mix of Dominican, Dominican Native Indian, Spaniard, Russian, and German. I was born and raised in New Jersey and have had a passion for the arts my entire life. I’ve been singing, dancing, and painting since I was born, but didn’t discover my passion for acting until I auditioned and was cast in my first play as Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz in third grade. Since then I have worked on various school plays, both acting and working behind-the-scenes.
Having over ten years of experience in the field of theatre, I turned my attention to film, another aspect of the arts that had always fascinated me. I purchased a camcorder and editing software and proceeded to self teach. I made a few short films for my own amusement, then decided I wanted to learn more about the aesthetics of feature filmmaking. I am currently developing my own production company to make low-budget independant shorts, feature films, and animations.
I hold a B.A. in Communications with a specialty in Media Production from Western Connecticut State University and I act and model on the side. I hope to further my career in these fields, move on to graduate school, and enjoy a fulfilling creative career.
